Davis and Montgomery square off in this entertaining battle-of-the-sexes romantic comedy with slick dialog and a good supporting cast. But I'm afraid by today's standards it's politically incorrect, particularly in the cringe-worthy final scene.
CAST NOTE: Debbie Reynolds' fleeting appearance as a wedding guest was her uncredited feature film debut.
TRIVIA: Because the Dewey-Truman presidential race was going on, one of Mary Wickes' lines was shot with both candidates names. The original print had Dewey as the winner. When Truman unexpectedly won, the other version was quickly printed and rushed to theaters.
